7:10 PM EST. Blake Snell (LHP - TAM) is a great pitcher and continues to be one of the finest in the game. He’s on track to repeat his Cy Young campaign with 98 K’s in 72 frames to go along with a 3.50 ERA. His results have the support of his underlying numbers as well but dude has just four wins in 13 starts because this extreme pitchers park keeps opponents in the game until the bullpens take over. It’s also worth noting again that the Angels have struck out the least amount of times in the majors. Snell is great but so is L.A.’s starter.

Despite a 5.40 ERA, Andrew Heaney (LHP - LAA) has been outstanding in his first three games started since coming back from elbow inflammation that caused him to miss the start of the season. Heaney has posted 15.1 K’s/9 or 28 K’s in 17 innings with just three walks issued. Heaney also has the underlying support of an off the charts 20% swing & miss rate with a 2.97 xERA. He has a 5.40 ERA because of a very unlucky 60% strand rate. Although he doesn’t qualify because he hasn’t pitched 40 innings or more, Heaney also has the lowest line-drive (11%) rate in the majors among all starters. That Andrew Heaey is priced like he’s Marco Gonzales is insane.
