The New York Knickerbockers have failed to cover in four straight and in six of their last seven games with its only cover over that span occuring when they lost by nine at Charlotte as a 12-point underdog. The price absolutely looks short and as a result, the entire betting world will be on the Pistons here, who are not only coming off a 13-point win in New York but the game before, Detroit wiped out the Nuggets by 26 points. It looks like the oddsmakers are giving away money here and that’s a massive red flag to us. The more likely scenario is that the Pistons overlook the Knicks and the Knicks are thrilled to get on the road and away from the media scrutiny in New York after being home for four games and put forth an incredibly inspired effort and come in well under the number with a great chance to win it outright.
