MILWAUKEE -1½ +166 over Chicago

8:10 PM EST. The Brewers were just swept by the Royals in a two-game, midweek set, but we're willing to write off those poor results with ease. Firstly, the Crew were coming off a huge series with the Reds, where they were able to sweep and keep Cincinnati at bay, at least for now. Second, their brothers in sports, the Milwaukee Bucks won their first NBA Championship in almost five decades. If anyone on this team was not hungover on Wednesday, we'd be shocked. Finally, the Brewers were awaiting these White Sox to come to town for what looks to be a potential World Series preview.

Freddy Peralta (RHP - MIL) will be on the bump for the Crew tonight and while there might be a few nits to pick, this play has little to do with him. Still, Peralta can mow them down on the strength of his 35% K% and 14.9% swing & miss rate.

This play is twofold. First, we are buying low on the Brewers, as this appears to be a solid situational play from our perch. Second, we have to continue to attack Lucas Giolito. As we wrote in his last turn, "Gio's" profile has some serious concerns, especially for the inflated price you'll have to pay to back him because of his high standing in the market. "Gio" is going to have some curb appeal today because the South Side has won three of his last four, but a closer look shows that Giolito might be more smoke and mirrors. Dude is getting hit hard just about every time out and he's seen significant regression in more than one key underlying area. That is not a good mix. The Brewers are being sold short here on their home field and we are going to attack.
