Philadelphia -1½ over Toronto

6:40 PM EST. The Phillies are coming off a successful run up the West Coast in which they went 8-1 in series versus the Padres, Angels, and Giants. To keep the good times rolling, the Phils will send Cristopher Sánchez (LHP - PHI) out for his seventh start of the season and thus far, he’s induced an uber-elite 62% groundball rate and has been barreled up just 4.4% of the time. Sanchez gets this turn against the Blue Jays, who own a lackluster .624 OPS since April 23.

As for the Blue Jays, they’ll go with José Berríos (RHP - TOR), who on the surface sports a 1.44 ERA, but brings a much more bloated 4.87 xERA. Furthermore, he has just 31 Ks in 43.2 innings and a very fortunate strand rate of 96.6%, while also riding along with the benefit of a 23% hit rate (21% when batters are leading off an inning). Drawing the red-hot Phillies, who have slashed .276/.359/.465 (.823 OPS) since April 25, in what is expected to be a wind-blowing-out evening in Philly, give us the groundball pitcher and the hot-hitting bats of the Phillies to put up a crooked number.
