Buffalo -½ +325 over DALLAS

8:38 PM EST. Regulation only. Dallas returns home from a four-game trip here after three games in California and then a final stop in Colorado. In Colorado on Tuesday, the Stars won 3-2 but didn’t deserve that win after being under siege for most of the game. The Stars were outchanced 26-17. Making things even more challenging is that the Stars will take to the road immediately after this game for a one-game stopover in Minnesota on Saturday before the Bolts and Leafs come in afterward. This is truly a vulnerable spot for the Stars with so many scheduling disadvantages working against them, not to mention the propensity to take this perceived weak opponent from the East lightly.

The Sabres have won four of six and it’s not like they were beating Ottawa. They won in Florida, they beat the heating up Oilers and they also beat Vegas. The one easy opponent was Detroit but the Sabres put them away, 5-1. At a massive price to win in regulation and with the spot being so favorable for the Sabres, we simply have to roll the dice and hope we don’t get stonewalled by Dallas goaltending. Buffalo is in such a good spot that we have to trust they will outplay the Stars.
