ST. LOUIS -½ -110 over Philadelphia

8:05 PM EST. It’s not like the Flyers are a bad team because clearly they are not. However, since goaltenders are part of the team, the conclusion has to be that the Flyers are a bad team. The Flyers have dropped five of six with only win occurring when they were stuck 5-2 against the Bruins before rallying for a 6-5 OT win. That game was in Philly and now the Flyers are in a brutal scheduling spot. 

Philadelphia has been home for three games and will now make a one game trip to St. Louis before returning home to play the Habs tomorrow. After playing Montreal, the Flyers will remain home for another three games and until after the All-Star break. That equates to one road game (this one) between Jan 8 and Jan 31. This is a hugely inconvenient one-game road trip against a non-rival West team. The goaltending battle is a mismatch too. 

The Blues have the best home record in the league with a 16-4-3 record and have won by two or more goals in five of their last eight home victories. St. Louis is -½ -110 at the time of this writing and it’s too cheap, They should be much higher and we’ll therefore get in ASAP.
