5:05 PM EST. Regulation only. Just because we went 0-3 last night in the NHL and continue to battle the hockey gods, it’s not going to prevent us from attacking these ridiculous prices. Such is the case here, as the Devils have some new life injected into them and this is a very winnable game.

Give the Sens credit for being feisty and competitive on most nights after they were told that they would have trouble winning 25 games this year before the season began. The Sens have some nice pieces and have been a very live dog on a few nights but as the chalk, they must be faded because their chances of losing are greater than their chances of winning.

We love that the Devils played on Friday night while this is the Sens first game back after the break. Devils have been off for one full day while Ottawa has been off for five full days. These two have played once already this year and the Sens won 4-2, which is another factor working in New Jersey’s favor. Since trading Taylor Hall, the Devils have picked up points in three of their five games and that includes picking up three out of four points in their last two with an OT loss to Toronto and a 7-1 win in Chicago. The Devils have created a ton of chances in the past two games and this opponent is as weak on the back end as any they have seen or faced all year. Now in a favorable spot, the superior team in good form has to view this one as an opportunity to keep the good vibe going.
