10:35 PM EST. Regulation only. On what planet are we not going to take the Penguins plus a price to beat the Kings in regulation. If we lose this bet, we’ll rip up our ticket with great pride because there is such great value here.

The Penguins had a fun game in Anaheim last night in which they fell behind 3-0 after one, rallied to tie it before the end of the second before the Ducks buried one late in second period to take a 4-3 lead going to the third. However, the Pens would rally for four more in the third to put away the reeling Ducks. They’ll now face a nothing team.

For whatever reason, this market has not recognized how rancid the Kings are. When the Kings score twice in one game, it’s a near miracle. When they don’t allow four or more, it’s because the opposition didn’t show up or backup goaltender Jack Campbell came up with a big game. Rarely does Jonathan Quick come up with anything these days because he’s just no good anymore so hopefully the Kings will turn to Quick again. Chances are they will simply because they’re paying him.  

The Kings are coming off a 4-1 loss to Ottawa. Scoring once on the Sens is hard to do when most teams are scoring six on them. Here’s what L.A. coach Willie Desjardins had to say about tonight’s game:

“Matt Luff will likely draw in”. "He’s a good kid, he deserves to get back in the lineup. That’s probably the issue – is who do you take out? It’s always easy to move guys in your bottom line of the lineup out, but they’re not hurting us. They’re playing pretty well”. "It makes you look at guys more higher up in the lineup. Hopefully those guys would play hard so they’re not guys you’d have to take out. You kind of expect that. But I need to get Luff back in. He’s a good player, he’s a good young player, he needs to play."

Who do you take out? Seriously coach? Who the f**k do you take out? We can name 22 guys that should be out. This is what that f**king moronic coach is worried about? Willie Desjardins was run out of Vancouver after taking over a pretty good team from John Tortorella. The Canucks missed the playoffs in two of his three full years there. In any event, L.A. is not even an NHL caliber team and now Tanner Pearson, who is kissing the ground that whoever was responsible for trading him walks on, will bring some extra energy with him in an attempt to stick it to his former team. Whether it’s coincidence or not, the Pens got hot right around the time that Pearson was acquired so we’re going to trust that the rest of the team will want to put forth a strong effort in support of their new teammate. In any event, the Kings can’t score, they can’t defend, they can’t skate and they have the worst collection of talent in the league. The Pens can play at 25% and still beat them.
