10:35 PM EST. This is really a case of sticking with a team that we’re not quite ready to write off yet and also about fading weak goaltending when the price is this high. Shutouts and easy wins do not come much easier than the Knights win over the disinterested Ducks on Wednesday night. St. Louis will not come in with that same attitude or lack of intensity.

The Blues two best games of the year have come in their last two games, again both losses, as they dominated puck possession in both, held Minnesota and Chicago to 18 and 19 shots on net respectively but are 0-2. That hard work and effort has a reward to go along with it that hasn’t been paid yet but that cheque is coming right up. This is a winnable game to be sure for the Blue Notes.
