8:35 PM EST. Regulation only. Dallas has dropped three in a row and four of five after a hot 2-0 start but we’re not worried about getting behind a “cold” team one bit. Dallas was clearly the better team in a 3-1 loss to Minnesota on Friday. Devan Dubnyk made 33 saves, many with a high degree of difficulty as the Stars continued to ratchet up the pressure after a slow start. Dubnyk made 24 saves in the second period alone and his work set the stage for the Wild to “rope-a-dope” the Stars in the third period. When Dallas lost to Ottawa earlier this year, they dominated play in that one too. This is a very talented team hungry for a win and they could not have handpicked a better opponent to get back on track against.

There will be no “running into a hot goaltender in this one, as Jonathan Quick is a beaten-down goaltender who is playing only because he’s getting paid to. He’s Cam Ward only worse and the Kings might be the weakest team in the NHL. The early analytics peg the Kings as a bottom nine team but if there is a slower, less talented team in the NHL, we have not seen them yet. At some point the market will catch up to how bad Los Angeles is but right now they Kings still have some pedigree, which is fine because we’re able to fade them at advantageous prices.

Also, there is always the possibility that we'll be adding some late add-ons to our slate of games after dinner and we’ll be sure to tweet them out if/when we do.
