Tennessee +110 over Las Vegas

1:00 PM EST. Not everything is as it appears on the surface. Both the Raiders and Titans are 0-2 in the standings. Both are even 0-2 against the spread, which is what matters most in this market. However, not all 0-2’s are created equal.

The Raiders are winless, but have put up a much better fight. In Week 1, Vegas had a good showing against the Chargers, a team that gave Kansas City all they could handle on Thursday Night Football. Last Sunday, the Raiders were frog-stomping the Cardinals 20-0 going into halftime. Vegas would still take a 16-point lead to the fourth quarter before momentum shifted. It was still a loss but like the Raiders first loss, it wasn’t a bad loss. The Raiders could easily be 2-0.

On the Titans side, they can’t be 2-0. It's ugly. Real ugly. Tennessee was beaten at home by the Giants in Week 1, and then was totally embarrassed in front of the football world on Monday night. Those prime time losses have great influence. We are often interested in teams that lose those games the next time out because they are often undervalued and underpriced. Furthermore, nobody likes getting humiliated in front of their peers. If the Titans are not shot out of a cannon this week, so be it, but if a team is supposed to embody it’s coach, watch the f**k out. Mike Vrable is tough as nails. While all things are not equal, it’s only Week 3, and the AFC’s #1 seed from just one year ago is a pooch at home to a squad that barely snuck in the dance and then was sent packing after one game. That can’t be.
