ORLANDO +170 over San Antonio

8:00 PM EST. Yesterday, the Spurs marched into Dallas as a 6½-point pooch and won outright 119-117. If San Antonio was undervalued in its last few games, that ship has certainly sailed, as the Spurs now move from a 6½-point road pooch to -6 point road favorite overnight, a role we're not sure they are well-suited for. A double-digit swing in the point-spread from one game to the next is a lot to ask of the league's top teams, let alone a fragile one that has been on the road for nearly a week.

The Magic also played yesterday but experienced a much different result than the Spurs’ two-point nail-biting, hard fought victory in Dallas. No, the Magic lost to the tune of a 124-87 drubbing by the Bucks. Orlando's low market appeal dropped when they traded Nikola Vucevic to the Bulls and just dropped even lower after a near 40-point loss less than 24 hours ago.

San Antonio is still one of the league's blue blood teams? While the Spurs are long removed from their championship years, they still have "Pop" and some notable star power and they just covered twice in a row against Denver and Dallas, respectively. Meanwhile that blowout to the Bucks was Orlando's fifth loss in a row.

We’ll now set up the situation. The Spurs travel again after back-to-backs in the Mile High City followed by a one game stop in Dallas. It will also be the Spurs' fifth game in seven nights, third game in four nights and the tail end of back-to-backs. It is not unrealistic to think that San Antonio may be running on fumes. As for the Magic, well, no team likes getting blown out, which is why we often like to target them after such an occasion. Let’s not forget that Orland played both Indiana and Washington very tough in its two games prior.

This is a classic buy-low/sell high opportunity with inflated points sprinkled in. The Magic likely won’t even need the points but just in case we’ll split it up and play 1 unit on the money line and 1 unit taking back the points.

Officially:

Orlando +170 for 1 unit

Orlando +5½ -107 (1.07 units to win 1).
