7:30 PM EST. The Suns are not noted for their defensive prowess and for that matter, neither are these Hawks. The Suns are coming off back to back wins over low scoring squads in Orlando (98-94) and Charlotte (100-92) and so we are going to put little stock into their ability to hold anybody that can shoot to under 100 points. Phoenix is allowing 114 points per game this season and the Hawks provide a favorable matchup for this one to go over the number.

Atlanta is last place in the East, but that's not because they can't score. The Hawks are expected to be without Trae Young tonight, which is a reason this number is lower than it should be. Young missed Atlanta's last game, which was a 108-86 loss in Brooklyn. With Young out and both these teams going under in their most recent games, we have to question why this number is so high. NBA totals are not decided by pace anymore, they are decided by hot and cold shooting only. These two teams have been cold for a couple of games each and oddsmakers trust they are going to light it up tonight. Sometimes you've got to read between the lines.---
