St. Louis +114 over Chicago

7:40 PM EST. The Cardinals have struggled and own the National League's worst record at 11-24. While we cannot predict when the turnaround will come, we do know that the Cardinals are not the worst team in their division, let alone the entire National League. A correction to the good is coming. The Cards aren't going to go 51-111.

St. Louis will send Miles Mikolas (RHP - STL) to the mound to try and get things back on track. Mikolas posts a 5.79 ERA through seven starts, however, Mikolas has a 3.13 ERA over his last four starts after giving up at least five runs in his first three turns of the season, so he is trending in the right direction. Mikolas also has 34 strikeouts in 37.1 innings to just nine walks.

On the Cubs' side, Marcus Stroman (RHP - CHC) will take his turn on the bump. Stroman sports a 2-2 record and a 2.18 ERA through his first six starts, but his xERA is 3.97, so regression is coming to that surface number. Additionally, Stroman has seen a big dip in his first-pitch strike rate, as it's down to just 57.7% from 66.8% last season. Dude is not fooling anyone at the moment. Attack.
