Luis Severino (RHP - NYY) brings his 4.08 ERA and 2-0 record into this series with the Orioles. Severino lasted 4.2 innings last time out against the Blue Jays. He gave up three runs on five hits. Severino has seen both his strikeout rate and his walk rate head in the wrong direction this season. His walks are up nearly double (1.50-to-2.83 BB/9), while his Ks are down from 12 K/9 in 2021 to 9.73 K/9 in 2022. Dude is three months shy of his 29th birthday. To suggest he’s peaked is not out of line.

Kyle Bradish (RHP - BAL) earned his first win last time out after giving up just two runs on four hits while striking out 11 Cardinals. Bradish sports a sweet xERA of 3.82 but his skills have been much better than that: 25% K%, 5% BB%, 20% K-BB%, 45% grounders. This is the buidling of a profile that has lasting success numbers in it. Keep your eye on Bradish.
