Kansas City +100 over Chicago

We locked in on Kansas City on May 10 and we are riding the Royals up until May 24th when they conclude a two-game set in Arizona, Since we started backing them daily, we are 3-2. This is Game 6 of 15 in which we'll get behind the Royals. 

Today’s starting pitchers:

Brad Keller (RHP - KC) brings just a 1-3 record into tonight, but his ERA is a tidy 2.70, as is his groundball rate (51.4%). Keller’s walk rate is way down from last season (4.31-to-2.21 BB/9) and his strand rate is about where it should be 75.7%. All are positive signs.

Johnny Cueto (RHP - CWS) gets the call-up from Triple-A Charlotte. This is Cueto’s first start of 2022 and his first in a White Sox uniform after six years in San Francisco. Cueto finished 2021 with a 7-7 record and ERA of 4.08. However, his xERA was almost a point higher at 4.95. He’s not the same since his 2017 arm woes segued into 2018 Tommy John surgery. He held his own early last year until barking elbow IL’d him twice for almost 7 weeks in Aug/Sept. BB% looked vintage, but his K% and trend vR are stagnant. Maybe Cueto still has his bag of tricks but ongoing injuries, age suggest otherwise.
