Detroit -1½ +265 over MINNESOTA

6:10 PM EST. We targeted the Twins yesterday and we will not let up today. Everything we wrote about Minnesota in the lead up to Friday's trade deadline holds true, as one walk-off win in extra innings does not make a season. We also faded Kenta Maeda (RHP - MIN) last time out and see no reason to not come right back at him. Dude scored the winning run as a pinch-runner in the 10th last night, which honestly might be a better role for him at this point. The reason Maeda was thrown out there was because the Twinkies worked their way through all but one of their bench players. It didn't matter, though, as Max Kepler knocked in the winning run after going 0-for-5 for the game until that point. We hope Kepler and his 'mates enjoyed the post game celebration because the for sale signs still litter their yard.

Out for Detroit will be Tyler Alexander (LHP - DET), who has seen limited action as a starter this season, but he and the Tigers are not the focus here. We will say that Detroit is scrappy as hell and in just about every ball game it plays. That's enough to keep us coming back for more, especially at inflated prices like this.
