His 7% swing and miss rate is really low and will limit his strikeouts even against a Rays’ lineup which has struck out a lot. Now in his fourth big league season, he has really enjoyed pitching at home, where in 38 career appearances, he is 14-7 with a 3.15 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 177 innings. That’s the skinny on Brad Keller. We’re not for him or against him, as he just happens to be our target’s mound opponent.

As for Rich Hill (LHP - TB), well there was a time when one could count on him for two things: strong skills and wins but those days are long home. Last year was a lucky hit %-fuelee with his xERA, xHR/F say it could've been much worse. His fastball has dipped to a bounce-off-glass led flukvel, which is revealed in his weak swing and miss rate of 6.1%. Tampa is favored here because they just swept the Yanks and also won the opener last night but now it is time to attack. Tampa Bay ranks near the bottom of the American League statistically (4.39 team ERA, .221 BA) and with Hill starting, they do not warrant this price.
