1:15 PM EST. The White Sox are in a tailspin but this is still a highly energized group of young players that appreciate being in the bigs and they come to play every game despite the results. Ross Detwiler (LHP - KC) gets an opportunity here and he is no stranger either. He is a 33-year old lefty with 193 career appearances at this level with close to 600 innings. Dude will not dazzle but he’ll keep the ball on the ground, he’ll throw strikes and very likely give the South Side a chance but he’s not our focus here.

Kansas City priced in this range with Brad Keller (RHP - KC) starting is absurd. Kansas City loses more games than they win by a wide margin and Keller isn’t even that good. At 23, the 6'5, 230-pound righthander looks intimidating on the mound, but while his fastball sits in the mid-90s, he's hardly a strikeout machine. Keller's big weapon is his ability to induce grounders. Keller's performance will continue to be driven by hit% and strand% and the quality of the defense behind him but he’s unlikely to be a plus contributor to your bankroll. This is a starter with five wins in 20 games and now he’s favored like he’s won three times that many. This is true value on the South Side that must be played.
