6:10 PM EST. Ryan Yarborough’s (LHP - TB) impressive win total last year (16 wins) drove all of this rookie's value, but don't expect a repeat, with or without unique "bulk RP" deployment. This is not the profile of a winning pitcher but we don’t care. This is a start by committee by the Rays so Yarborough isn’t throwing more than an inning. The Rays have successfully used this strategy and we’ll live with whatever happens here because this wager is a straight fade on the Indians weak lineup and weaker starter.

Adam Plutko (RHP - CLE) was recalled from Triple-A Columbus Saturday, May 18 and started that day against the Orioles. Plutko earned the win after going six full and allowing just one hit ( a HR) while striking out just four batters. In other words, all those hit balls were right at people. Plutko was in the minors for a reason. Last year he went 4-5 with a 5.28 ERA in 77 innings for the Tribe. His first extended MLB look didn't go well, and his skill set doesn't figure to be successful in today's launch angle climate. The extreme flyball pitcher was touched up for a whopping 2.5 hr/9 while sporting a subpar strikeout rate/swing & miss rate and struggling mightily versus lefties. He has no value nor relevance and is strictly a great fade target.
