8:40 PM EST. The “Coors Field” angle is in play for this one, as the Rockies are back home after a seven-game road trip that saw them go 4-3 with stops in both Atlanta and Milwaukee. The Rocks bats are heating up with Nolan Arenado leading the way. The third baseman has slugged nine dingers in his last 16 games. The Rockies capped their roadie with an 11-run outburst over the Brewers yesterday afternoon.

As for the starters, Robbie Ray (LHP - ARI) grabbed his first win of the year in his last start over the Cubs. Ray gave up three runs and five hits over five innings. He hasn't pitched into the seventh frame yet in 2019 and Ray has had some trouble issuing free passes with at least four or more walks in three of his starts this season.

It's hard to sugarcoat Tyler Anderson (LHP - COL), but since his return from the 10-day injured list (left knee inflammation), the lefty has seen a significant uptick in his strikeout production. He's giving up runs, but his xERA (4.75) is much more respectable than his bloated surface number (11.34). We don't know what we'll get from Anderson today, but that matters not, as we are just sticking with our angle. With a total of 11, runs appear to be on the menu.
