Butler +126 over Seton Hall

4:00 PM EST. Seton Hall is quickly and steadily moving up the rankings. The Hall have moved up 30 positions in the overall rankings (from 92 to 62) over the past couple of weeks, capped off by a win over then #9 UConn on the 18th of January. In the follow up game, the Pirates lost to Marquette but they’ve won four of five and are on the market’s radar.

Butler is on the market’s radar too, as one of the best fade teams in the country. Butler has lost three straight to Creighton, UConn and Providence but it’s not that they lost that sticks out, it is that they lost by 21, 30 and 21 respectively. Against a recent common opponent that Seton Hall defeated (UConn), Butler lost to that same team by 30. Furthermore, when these two teams met back at Seton Hall just three weeks ago on January 7, Seton Hall beat Butler by 15. Today, Seton Hall is a mere -2½-point choice and that my friends, is what we call fool’s gold. When something looks too good to be true…..we’ll, you know the rest. Butler outright it is.
