Imagine, it’s mid February and North Carolina is on the outside looking in. With a 10-14 overall and a 3-10 record in conference, UNC might have to run the table to get in. At the very least, it is going to have to win every remaining key game to have a chance but more importantly, North Carolina’s stock hasn’t been this low in decades.

The Tar Heels are 0-4 since freshman point guard Cole Anthony's return from injury. After UNC’s epic collapse against Duke a week ago, they followed it up with a blowout loss at Wake Forest three days later. We now get the Tar Heels at a true bargain. After the collapse and blowout loss to Wake, UNC have had more time to find a better frame of mind. Let’s not forget that the Heels were blowing out the Blue Devils, so they should be able to handle the offensively challenged Cavaliers. In a 50-49 overtime victory over Notre Dame this week, the Cavaliers shot 5-for-20 from 3-point range and senior forward Mamadi Diakite scored 20 of the team's points. Carolina has a clear talent advantage, they are at home, they’re in desperation mode and they are a bargain today.
