Randy Costa +112 over Journey Newson

6:00 PM EST. Randy Costa dropped his UFC debut to Brandon Davis, but was able to bounce back to defeat Boston Salmon last October. Costa is a hit and be hit fighter at 135LB, which is a big reason why he spent just 2:50 over four fights before arriving in the UFC. Costa is also rangy for a bantamweight, as he'll have a six-inch reach advantage against his opposition tonight.

Journey Newson won his last fight in impressive fashion, but had the result overturned for a positive marijuana test. That 38-second knockout of Domingo Pilarte back in February put Newson on the map, but now he moves from the underdog role to that of the favorite after getting pounded by the market. There is a reason that oddsmakers opened this line with Costa as the chalk, which means we are getting a significant discount on the better man. That's a bet we'll make every time.
