The Alouettes deserve respect, particularly at home, but they haven't consistently imposed their style of play against quality opponents. The Stampeders have also displayed the ability to answer adversity instead of fading when momentum swings against them.

These teams are much closer than the spread indicates, and the Stampeders have enough offensive firepower to stay within striking distance from start to finish. Even if Montreal manages to pull out the win at home, Calgary has the pieces to trade scores and keep the margin well inside the number.

This looks like one of those games where the home team receives extra respect simply because it's playing in familiar surroundings. We'll gladly take the points with the more dangerous underdog. Calgary has found its identity, it's playing with confidence, and it has every opportunity to not only cover the spread but threaten for the outright upset.
