8:30 PM EST. One of the toughest lessons to learn when wagering on sports is how to eat crap and like it. Enter the Toronto Argonauts, who we backed in an awful home effort against Winnipeg last week. The Boatmen were taking back three points in that contest and got whacked 38-20. After such a pitiful performance, it’s damn near impossible to come back and get behind the Argos in this week’s rematch but that is precisely what we are going to do. Playing over and under-reactions is one of our mantras and this game fits that to a T.

Most of the time an 18-point beatdown would be something to celebrate, but many of the Blue Bombers warts were exposed despite the W. Winnipeg has been prone to stupid plays all year and last week was no different. Three lost fumbles by the Bombers led to nearly all of Toronto's points (19) and had they come earlier in the game, it may have been a totally different story. When a team is sloppy, it makes covering a big number a very risky proposition. This line is inflated for a number of reasons, but it’s mostly because of the superficial score in game one of this home-and-home. Are the Bombers the better team? Absolutely, but winning and covering are two different beasts and if we took three points with the Argos last week, certainly we’ll take double digits with them this week. They’re the better coached team and are more likely to bounce back than Winnipeg is to win big again.
