BEST LINE: Pinnacle over 8½ -110 

John Lackey vs Justin Masterson. You may notice on some nights there are tons of runs scored while on other nights, scoring is way down. Much of that can be attributed to barometric pressure and tonight we have strong winds and dropping pressure at several ball parks and this is one of them.

 The last time there were similar weather conditions at Progressive Field as there is today was on May 21 with Max Scherzer going up against Zach McAllister. The Indians won 11-10. That day the winds were blowing out to center at 18 MPH and the barometric reading was 29.98. Today the winds are blowing out at 20 MPH and the pressure is even lower at 29.92. In our game analysis we’ve charted Masterson’s struggles and so we’re counting on him to get whacked today. The Indians need only score two or three to help this one go over but with the conditions hugely favoring the batters, it would come as no surprise to see them go off for four or more.
