Andre Rienzo v Tyler Ross. Ross faces the White Sox, who lead all major league teams with 8.85 strikeouts per game—on par with Ross' 8.4 K’s per nine. Even more impressive is Ross’s 14% swinging percentage this year and a 60% groundball tilt. Ross is a strong under for his strikeout and groundball rates potential alone.

Rienzo’s curveball is a legit strikeout pitch and his chronic wildness appears to be a thing of the past. He’s only walked 18 in 41 frames and has not walked more than 2 batters in four straight starts. Rienzo also has a BAA of just .223 and the Padres BA on the road of .217 is MLB’s worst.
