Carolina +141 to win the series

Game 1 was a thriller in quadruple overtime, with the Panthers outlasting the Hurricanes to take a 3-2 win and a 1-0 series lead after the sixth-longest game in NHL history. While Frederik Andersen performed admirably for the Hurricanes, making a franchise-record 57 saves in Game 1, the 'Canes have considered going with Antti Raanta tonight, with head coach Rod Brind'Amour saying that he "has" to consider sitting Andersen after he played all of Game 1.

On the Florida side, there is no plan to upset whatever has led to Sergei Bobrovsky pulling the nose up on his season. "Bob" was benched last in the year in favor of Alex Lyon, with Lyon actually getting to start the playoffs between the pipes. However, he struggled, and Bobrovsky has been the hottest goalie in the world since.

Rather than wager on the Canes to win tonight, we are going to wager on them to come back and win this series at a very nice price. While we are stepping in on the series here, that is not going to stop us from wagering on the individual games this series when it shifts to Florida for Games 3 and 4, where the Cats will be favored.
