7:10 PM EST. OT included. The Kraken are now down 3-2 in this series after losing Games 4 and 5. Despite dictating the play in Game 5, Seattle was a tough luck losers, dropping that game 5-2. While the scoreboard was lopsided against the Kraken on Thursday night, they did outshoot the Stars 31-to-21.

The reason the Stars are up in this series is that the Stars’ Jake Oettinger has outperformed Seattle’s Philipp Grubauer between the pipes. There is no sugarcoating Grubauer’s struggles in this series where he has allowed four goals in four of the five games including stopping just 16-of-20 shots in Game 5. Will Grubauer be better tonight? Who knows, but at this price we’re willing to give him another shot.

Through five games, the Kraken has been every bit the Stars equal and then some. If Seattle had the “puck luck” of the Stars, this series would already be over. The Stars are getting so much hype that it’s almost comical, however, the premium one must pay to back them is anything but funny. The Stars have played two games in Seattle in which they were significantly favored in this range and split them. Now, Dallas is a bigger price today than it was in Games 3 and 4. This number is disrespectful to the hometown Kraken, who have a much better chance to win this game than the inflated price they are being offered. That’s value.
