Edmonton -½ +135 over Las Vegas

7:00 PM EST. Regulation only. The Oilers will look to bounce back here from their Game 1 loss against the Golden Knights in the Western Conference semifinal matchup. Despite falling behind 3-1 in the first period, the Oilers were able to tie the game at 3-3 early in the third period thanks to a pair of power-play goals by forward Leon Draisaitl. However, Vegas scored twice in just 50 seconds to take a 5-3 lead, ultimately winning the game 6-4. It was Edmonton's first regulation loss since a 7-4 setback at Toronto on March 11, a stretch that covered 53 days and 21 games. Despite their slow start, Edmonton has a history of rebounding in playoff series after dropping the first game. This team has won three of their last four series after losing Game 1, including their first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings in the first round.

As for Vegas, the Golden Knights have seen their stock rise after five straight wins, yet oddsmakers still made them the underdog here. That speaks volumes expecially when we consider that Vegas won Game 1 while outshooting and outchancing the Oilers in the process. Vegas is cashing lots of tickets these days but oddsmakers see flaws, thus the time to sell high would be right now.
