So, too, is the absence of Oilers’ defenseman Darnell Nurse, who has been the workhorse on the backend for Edmonton. Nurse is playing a team-leading 21:45 a night and is tied with Connor McDavid and Cody Ceci at +5. Who's going to step up here? Duncan Keith or Evan Bouchard and their -3’s? Tyson Barrie is a -1 and Brett Kulak is even. Not inspiring. Maple Leafs' fans will agree that the only time Tyson Barrie is safe to be on the ice is when his team is on a power-play.

If we happen to rip up this ticket on L.A. tonight, we are going to come right back on the Kings in Game 7 no matter what. We do not care if the Kings were outscored 14-2 in Games 3 & 4, and we will not be deterred if they get whacked 7-1 here. We’ll just get them at a more inflated number in Game 7 but first things first. The Kings are ready while the Oilers figure to be playing "not to make a mistake". That's a loss waiting to happen.
