10:35 PM EST. OT included. The Blues are very high on our fade radar after going on a 9-1 run over their last 10 games. A run like that is going to get anyone noticed in the market, but it does not take one long to pick apart their resume. Only one team has been “luckier” than the Blues in April, as St. Louis has played nowhere near the level of their most recent results. When that “puck luck” runs out, it’s likely to get ugly. The Blues have no business being favored in this range against anyone in this league not named “Arizona”. 

Unlike the Blues, the Sharks have had just about the worst run of any team in the league. The Sharks had lost 10 games in a row until they finally got off the schneid last time out against Columbus. With that losing streak finally broken, we’re going to humbly suggest that better days are ahead for the Sharkies. They’ve been the #18 puck possession team while racking up the losses, in case you were wondering, the Blues across their winning ways are #30. Hockey can be a cruel game to wager on because the best team on the ice does not always get the result they should. Until we see something that suggests otherwise, the Blues must be faded when favored on the road in this range. There is a correction coming to their win/loss record and we are not going to miss out on the potential profits.
