N.Y. ISLANDERS +130 over Boston

7:38 PM EST. For the Islanders to be priced like this at home after getting their split in Beantown has to be some locker room fodder for Barry Trotz and the rest of the boys in blue and orange. Sure, their win in Game 2 came by the slimmest of margins, in overtime, no less, but let us not forget that the Isles were up 3-1 with just around 10 minutes to play.

Most nights, the best goalie on the ice is going to win the game and we have some questions about Tuukka Rask, who has been on our radar for quite some time. Not only is dude grossly overvalued, but he also is not 100%. That last fact may not be news, as Rask has been in and out of the lineup with a number of ailments this season, but he also came up a little lame in Game 2 after the Isles' second goal. He stayed in the game, but he did not look good the rest of the way. Perhaps Rask is as fine as Bs coach Bruce Cassidy has suggested, but if he is not, it could be a long night at the office. Even if Rask is at his best, the Islanders have enough firepower to go shot for shot with Boston again. The price dictates the play here, as there is extreme value on the hometown Islanders.
