Playing for a team that cannot score, the 27-year-old has already matched his point total from last season. Through 58 games this season, he has 18 goals and 16 assists. His 34 points ranked third on the Kings. Vancouver has very quietly put together a top-10 attack this season and have a very balanced attack. Toffoli’s addition will give the Canucks seven forwards with at least 16 goals and not many other teams can contend with that type of depth.

Still, the Canucks are very beatable. They rank 26th in puck possession time in the offensive end during five-on-five play over the past five weeks. They have a laundry list of injured players that includes Brock Boeser, Josh Leivio and Michael Ferland among others.

The Wild are an extremely undervalued squad that would be in a sure playoff spot if their goaltending was better. Minnesota ranks 2nd in the NHL in Scoring Chances Against and that’s because they have one of the best defensive cores in the league. Minnesota is coming off a 2-0 loss to San Jose. The Wild dominated from start to finish by outchancing the Sharks, 23-12. Game prior, they held the Rangers to a mere 15 scoring chances but lost again. It is a rare day when the Wild get outplayed or outworked and this is a great opportunity to get behind an undervalued squad versus an overvalued one.
