St. Louis -½ +220 over COLORADO

3:08 PM EST. Regulation only. Damn straight the Avalanche scare us because they are so loaded with talented players and speed. However, the Blue Notes have the NHL’s best goaltender and since goaltenders decide just about every game, St. Louis must be bet here but that’s not the only reason the Blues are worthy.

Over its past four games, St. Louis has allowed 25, 23, 19 and 19 shots on net. That is a serious conscious effort to get the puck out quickly and efficiently. We also like that on January 2nd, just 16 days ago, the Blue Notes were embarrassed by the Avs by a score of 7-3. While the revenge angle is one we usually do not embrace there are exceptions and this is one of them, as it wasn’t just a loss, it was of the blowout variety and the fact that is was just two weeks ago keeps it fresh in the minds of the team that got blown out.
