8:08 PM EST. Regulation only. The price on the home team to win in regulation is just plain absurd. Under normal circumstances, this wager would be worth making but this is anything but normal. It’s a great situational spot for the Wild. 

Dallas just returned home from a tough four-game trip to L.A., Anaheim, San Jose and Colorado. They played one game at home (against Buffalo) and now they must take the road again for one more lousy game before the break. This is a highly inconvenient one-off in Minnesota. 

Aside from the favorable spot, it might surprise you to learn that the Minnesota Wild have allowed the fewest scoring chances in the NHL. Over the past six weeks, they are tops in the NHL in allowing the fewest High Danger Scoring Chances. The Wild had dropped four in a row before an unlikely win over Tampa on Tuesday. That win had to do wonders for team morale and confidence. This is always a tough team to beat at the XCel Energy Center and now they’re in a terrific spot at a terrific price.
