Although the Leafs remain as dangerous offensively as any team in the NHL, they are still prone to giving up a ton of scoring chances. The point is that Toronto is just as likely to give up six goals as they are to scoring six and that makes them a massive risk. Toronto scored early and often against the Devils on Tuesday. Prior, the Panthers scored early and often in a 8-4 win over the Leafs. Some more of the Maple Leafs scores over their past 10 games included an 8-6 win over Carolina, a 6-4 loss to Edmonton, a 5-4 loss to Winnipeg, a 6-3 win over Winnipeg and a 5-4 loss to the Rangers. The Leafs are as vulnerable as they are dangerous and the proof is right before our eyes. At this price, of course the Flames must be bet.
