MINNESOTA -½ +105 over Vancouver

4:08 PM EST. This is one of the better spots this week, as Vancouver played yesterday afternoon in Buffalo and will play a late afternoon game here. Aside from being its third game in four days and tail end of back-to-back games, it is also the Canucks fourth game in 5½ days. Aside from all that, the Canucks have given up more high quality scoring chances than any team in the NHL since December 1 and they rank second last (30th) in the league over that same time span in puck possession in the offensive end during five-on-five play.

Minnesota is not a great team by any stretch but it is a rare day when they are not prepared to give it their best shot under Bruce Boudreau. The Wild are rested and should easily be able to beat the Canucks to every loose puck today and take it to the Canucks for 60 minutes. If that doesn’t get us to the window, oh well. Invest with confidence.
