1:05 PM EST. The Bruins have played five games and have been almost dead even in all of them in puck possession numbers and just about everything else. The point is that the Bruins are winning (4-1) but in no way are they dominating the way this price suggests. After starting the year with a four-game trip through Dallas, Arizona, Vegas and Colorado, the B’s returned home to play the Devils and beat them 3-0. It used to be teams’ were flat upon returning home from a trip but over the past couple of years, it has been the second game back that has proven to be more challenging.

The Ducks aren’t dominating by any stretch either but they, too, have a 4-1 record after five games and a large part of that is due to them having the league’s best goaltender. John Gibson has allowed five goals in four starts and when he’s your goaltender, and you can take back almost 2-1, it’s a must play. The total in this game is just 5, which strongly suggests a low scoring 3-2 type score. Of course we’ll take our chances here.
