NHL Parlay:

After being contacted by 888sport to be an affiliate of theirs, we looked through the site and did some research and found them to be an extremely reputable and trustworthy outfit. In fact, they’re one of the most trusted books in the UK and they’re available to Canadians too. Upon looking through their site, we came upon a wager that we have never seen anywhere else. When you parlay them together, it becomes worth betting.

2-team parlay -

BUFFALO/St. Louis 2 goals each

5:05 PM EST. The Blues played yesterday afternoon in Pittsburgh and beat the Pens, 5-1 in one of the more misleading scores of the day. The Penguins were all over the Blues but Jordan Binnington stood on his head while Matt Murray of the Pens was yanked early. Today, it’ll be Jake Allen for Blues. Looking at the Blues this season in the second game of back-to-backs and it’s not pretty, as they have given up three goals or more in seven of nine games. The two times they did not both came against the offensively challenged Wild. In the second game of back-to-backs this year, the Blues also allowed eight goals against by Winnipeg, six goals against by Arizona and five by both San Jose and Dallas. St. Louis is not only playing back-to-back but they’re also playing its third game in four days and this late afternoon game or early evening is followed by an afternoon game yesterday. The Sabres created a slew of scoring chances last night in Carolina and things get easier here in terms of creating against.

If Carter Hutton wasn’t in goal for Buffalo today, we would be playing the Sabres to win but Hutton cannot be trusted for a second. Dude is a mess right now that lost his starting job about six weeks ago to a guy that’s being paid a fraction of what his salary is. When the goaltender making FAR less money is getting the majority of the starts, it reveals just how little confidence the coaches and management have on the guy getting paid. Carter Hutton has allowed at least two goals against or more in 14 of his last 15 starts and we have to trust that will continue here. The Sabres played last night in Carolina and will travel back for a late afternoon game here. What we have here is two somewhat fatigued teams and a fatigued team is one that plays sloppy and gives up chances. Throw a couple of shaky goaltenders in the mix and that’s why this is the first part of our parlay.

PITTSBURGH/Philadelphia 2 goals each

With a total of o6½ -145, and with each teams individual total being 3½, this one is the obvious choice, thus making up our two game parlay of 2 goals or more from each team.

Here is today's wager on paper:

When you go to 888sport NHL section, click on the game you want and you’ll see the proposition:

Will each team score two goals or more in regulation: Yes or No. The bet is YES.

There is not a lot of NHL left but we have to trust that this wager will return profits over time (we have to win two out of every three to show a profit but our probabilities suggest we’ll win four out of every five and so we’ll be using these daily.
