9:00 PM EST. After burning through number one draft picks, coaches and even a few general managers, one has to wonder if the problem with the Oilers starts at the top. Seriously, Oilers owner Daryl Katz's track record is about as good as Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and the similarities between the two franchises are much closer than Oilers fans would probably like to admit. The Oilers, like the Brownies, just fired their coach mid-season and although they got a win in San Jose in Ken Hitchcock's debut, Edmonton does not appear as if that move is going to spark the same turnaround as it did in Cleveland. The Oil dropping back-to-back games at Anaheim and Los Angeles this past weekend is as ugly as it gets, as they are arguably the worst two teams in the league. Perhaps we are selling low on Edmonton here, but this does not quite feel like rock bottom. The Oilers cannot be spotting a price in this range to a team that can go superstar-for-superstar with them.

Like many great centers in the Gretzky/Lemieux era, Tyler Seguin isn't likely going to get his due with the likes of Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby in the Art Ross running every season. Seguin also plays way off the hockey radar in Dallas, where there are few eyes on this team. The Stars stock is low after losing four of their last five games. Last time out, the Stars ran into an Avalanche team that is an absolute smoke show right now and dropped a narrow 3-2 decision. As a favorite, just like the Oilers, the Stars are not that appealing, but when taking back a price, they are worth a look. That appears to be the case tonight, as they catch an Oilers team that is like a boiling lobster. The heat is on the overpriced home side here.
