7:05 PM EST. Despite losing nine of their last 10 games, the Penguins are getting a look from the market here because of a pair of injured players. On the Pittsburgh side, Sidney Crosby is set to return after missing three games with an upper-body injury, while Stars starting goaltender Ben Bishop is going to miss at least a week after injuring himself against the Rangers on Monday night. That swing in star power provides us to grab the Stars at an inflated price and we still get to enjoy an advantage between the pipes. Anton Khudobin has been just as good as Bishop this season and the Dallas goaltenders are 13th and 15th respectively in save percentage and 11th and 13th in goals-against average. The market sees Khudobin as a step-down from Bishop but regardless of who the Stars throw out there, the Penguins have no answer of their own to their goaltending situation.

The Pens have allowed at least four goals seven times over this 10 game nosedive and there is no end in sight, as Matt Murray looks to be washed up before is 25th birthday. Safety net Marc-Andre Fleury is long gone and cashing fat checks on the strip and so the Penguins have had to turn to Casey DeSmith to stop the bleeding, but that's a lot to ask of the second year netminder. DeSmith has been in net for four of the Penguins last five losses and he cannot be favored in this range against anybody , let alone a team with as much firepower as Dallas.
