The Panthers have reeled off three in a row with the latter two being at home but to that we say big deal, as they beat Edmonton and the Islanders and were trailing last night 2-1 before scoring the winner and subsequent empty netter in the third. Roberto Luongo was in goal for both games but the Panthers won’t have that luxury today, as Luongo will rest in favor of James Reimer. It’s no coincidence that the Panthers were losing frequently when Luongo was on the rack. 

The Sens continue to be the most disrespected team in the NHL but we’re not selling them short. Aside from playing with a chip on their shoulder from being written off for dead, the Sens are loaded with offense. Matt Duchene is playing at a high level, as is Mark Stone, Ryan Dzingel, Bobby Ryan and high draft pick, Brady Tkachuk. The Sens scored six last night on Tampa’s #1 goaltender and they buried seven past the Devils earlier this week. Ottawa is a .500 team priced like they haven’t won a game and while they’re turning their backup goaltender today also, they are not the team spotting a stupid price. When a team is scoring and winning, they can’t wait to get back on the ice. Indeed the Sens are worthy of another bet here.
