They are balanced and they have tremendous puck moving defensemen. Rested and playing well with four wins in a row, we can’t think of one reason not to get behind them here.

John Gibson played in goal last night in Los Angeles so we have to assume that backup Ryan Miller will play here. Actually, there is only one reason to bet on the Ducks this year and that’s because of Gibson so when you take him out of the equation, it’s a no-brainer.

We’ve been over it more than once that the Ducks are the NHL’s worst team or bottom two in just about every key analytic category. They get outplayed badly almost every single game because they are the slowest team in the NHL. Playing the tail end of back-to-back games, we cannot guarantee that the Ducks will lose here but we can guarantee that they’ll get outplayed and it will likely be by a wide margin.
