7:05 PM EST. By no means are the Bruins a bad team, as they have the record and the goods under the hood to support their success so far here in 2018-19. However, anywhere you see Boston, whether it be in puck possession (eighth), expected goals for percentage (12th) and even PDO or "puck luck" (sixth), you will see that Montreal is better, as the Habs are seventh in puck possession, ninth in xGF% and 11th in PDO (the lower your ranking the less lucky you've been). The point is, the Canadiens are just as good as the Bruins, but are not priced as such. Furthermore, this is one of the greatest rivalries in sports that is equal to Yanks/Red Sox, Steelers/Ravens, Georgia/Florida or any other long standing rivalry and every time they get together, it’s virtually a toss-up. Montreal’s stock coming into the season was low and the market is not quite buying into Montreal’s early season success but we’re here to suggest it’s legit. The Habs are quick, talented and the guys that underachieved badly last year have stepped up this year. Max Domi has been a great fit too. Finally, the Canadiens are well-coached by a guy that knows the Bruins well in ex-Bruins coach Claude Julien and we have to figure that his players will be a little more jacked up here in support of their well-liked coach. No matter how you break it down, the price here on the Habs is out of whack and we are all over it.
