7:40 PM EST. This wager is strictly a hedge or a buy-out for three wagers we made earlier in this series and we’ll give you the other options as well. We already have three bets on the Maple Leafs and they are as follows:

2 units at +420 = +8.40 units

2 units at +264 = +5.28 units

2 units at +127 = +2.54 units

We therefore stand to win 16.22 units on the Maple Leafs should they win but we would lose 6 full units on Toronto, should the Bruins win. With the Bruins being a -167 favorite, we are going to risk 10.02 units on the Bruins to win 6 units (our liability on Toronto) and FREE ROLL on Toronto for 6.2 units. That’s our bet. We’ll be free-rolling for 6.2 units here.

You can choose to go another way if you like if you have been on board with these wagers.

The other option would be to “flip” the entire bet and therefore that would entail wagering 16.22 units on Boston to win 9.71 units. That creates a FREE ROLL of 3.71 units on the Bruins (9.71 units - 6 units). If Toronto wins, you would win 16.22 units, which is what you would lose on your Boston bet and therefore break even on that wager.

If you do not have a wager on the series and are looking to wager on tonight’s game, we have to recommend the Maple Leafs based on the price alone, as Toronto is very capable here. The Maple Leafs have not played their best hockey but now all the pressure shifts to the B’s and Tuukka Rask, who for the most part has looked shaky the past few games.
