1:05 PM EST. Regulation only. We bet the Penguins last time out and failed to cash our ticket, but nothing has changed and we will not let up now. It's no secret that most games come down to goaltending and Matt Murray wasn't at his best in Game 5. However, he has put together three other brilliant performances in this series and we do not doubt his ability to bounce back. Murray is 9-1 in his playoff career after suffering a loss. Unlike whoever the Flyers send to the crease, Murray’s teammates believe in him and the rest of the Penguins likely have a bad taste in their mouths after blowing that last game at home. The Pens had all the momentum and a 2-1 lead late in the second period before the Flyers potted a shorthanded marker. Goals are too valuable in this league to give up in a shorty in a situation like that especially when you're trying to cover the 1½-pucks. In fairness to Murray, he was shaky on that goal but very good otherwise.

The Flyers will have the home crowd behind them tonight, but so what? The Pens posted a pair of crooked numbers in Games 3 and 4 on their way to back-to-back blowout wins. If the Flyers think they've found their man in net with Michal Neuvirth, then somebody needs to be fired after he spent the first three games of this series in a suit. Neuvirth allowed two goals on 13 Penguins shots in relief in Game 4 and posted a .846 save percentage. In Game 5, Neuvirth's huge diving save on Sidney Crosby with 50 seconds to go saved Philly's season, but the Flyers were outshot and outplayed in Pittsburgh and spent a ton of time in the penalty box. While Philly managed to kill all five penalties, it will get burned by a team with as much firepower as the Penguins eventually. The Flyers have been teetering on the brink since that Game 1 blowout. It's incredible that they have pushed the Pens this far, but this game of charades stops now. If the Flyers get a second straight game of competent goaltending, so be it, but we're betting that the Penguins finally push them off the edge. It's time for Philly to dust off its clubs. FORE!
