10:00 PM EST. OT included. Few in the market gave the Avalanche much of a shot in this series, but we have been behind them from the start and we will not let up now. Colorado has not been intimidated or outplayed and in fact, the Avs are dominating the Predators in high danger scoring chances with Game 3 being the most lopsided night yet. The scores of Game 1 and Game 2 did not tell the entire story, as Colorado went stride for stride with the Preds in Nashville. However, that 5-3 win in favor of the Avs on Monday night doesn't begin to do the home side justice. Colorado could have scored a half a dozen more if a few bounces had gone its way. Make no mistake, the Avs are still very much in this series. Colorado was able to frustrate the Preds enough that P.K. Subban took a cheap shot on Nathan MacKinnon (who by the way is still the best player on the best line for either team) and said he'd do it again if given the opportunity.

It would appear that Nashville has faced little adversity with regards to the outcome of the first few games of this series, but that Subban's train is already set to come off the tracks shows how frustrating an out the Avs have been thus far. Nashville does not have the poise or the presence of previous Western Conference powers and another slow start in Denver tonight could cost them big. The Preds were down 1-0 in both Games 1 and 2 and were never really in it after getting blitzed 4-0 to start Game 3. Pekka Rinne, who we still don't trust, was chased in the second period after giving up four goals on 15 shots. It might look like a positive that the Preds were able to kill off all five power-plays they gave up on Monday night, but a correction could be coming to that luck-based statistic. That Colorado was able to put up a crooked number without a man advantage marker makes that big win even more impressive. The market crowned the Preds before these playoffs began and they are playing like everything is owed to them. That is a dangerous approach this time of year when we've seen bigger upsets than this. From everything we've seen through three games, the Preds cannot be priced in this range. The Avs still are not getting the respect they should be getting on their home ice and once again, we’ll look to take advantage of the market perception that the vs are outclassed here when they are not. A series bet at +650 is also worth your consideration, as this one is a long way from being over.
