They played their final home game in Vancouver on Thursday night against Arizona and in dramatic fashion, the Canucks rallied from two down in the third to tie it before eventually winning it in OT. Hollywood could not have written a better script and it appears as though the market is seeing this one as anti-climactic but could not disagree more.

You see, THIS is their final game and it’s not on a weekday night against Arizona. It’s much more fitting that this game is against another Canadian team and it is the featured game on CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada. The Sedin’s teammates will show up and play hard to allow these two future Hall of Famers to leave the game with the same dignity and pride they came in with. Henrik, Daniel and every player on that Canucks’ bench want this one and they want it badly. An entire nation will be watching this swan song and we fully trust the Canucks to deliver a focused and solid performance. Furthermore, who the f**k are the Oilers to be favored in this range?
